Willow Rae Sterling, five months old, beloved daughter of Hunter Scott Sterling and Lili Madison Williamson, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Willow was born in Salisbury, Maryland, on March 12, 2026. Though her time here with us was far too short, she filled the lives of those around her with an immeasurable amount of love and joy. She was the happiest baby, known for her beautiful smiles and contagious laughter. Willow loved food and animals and had a special way of bringing happiness wherever she was. Her bright spirit and sweet personality touched the hearts of everyone blessed to know her, and she will be cherished and deeply missed for a lifetime.

Willow leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold her in their hearts, including her parents, Hunter and Lili; her paternal grandparents, Meagan and Anthony Sterling; her maternal grandparents, Laura and Steve Williamson; her paternal great-grandparents, Mary and Ray Messler; her aunts, Kaylee Sterling and Tristian Sanford; and her uncle, Liam Sterling.

She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Vernon and Betty Sterling; and her great-grandmother, Barbara Jean Carr Miller.

A private Celebration of Life Service for Willow will be held at a later date for her family.

Loved ones who wish to honor Willow are welcome to send flowers for her service at the Washington Hotel in Princess Anne, MD in her memory. Cards are also welcomed and may be sent to the family at 29573 Kingston Lane, Westover, MD 21871.

Though Willow’s precious life was much too brief, the love she gave and the joy she brought will remain forever. She will always be a cherished daughter, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, and niece—and a beautiful little girl who will never be forgotten.
