William Zack "Bill Zack" Ward, 67, of Crisfield, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at his home.

Born in Crisfield on April 20, 1946, he was a son of the late Raymond K. and Mildred G. Lawson Ward.

A retired waterman and decoy carver, "Bill Zack" was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had a special love for his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Jeanie R. Ward, of Crisfield; two granddaughters, Brittany Bell and her fiancé John Welch, and Jaycee Ward of Crisfield; a special nephew who was like a son to him, Raymond K. "Koly" Ward, III and wife Jennifer and their children Raymond Kole Ward, IV and Rebecca Grace Ward of Crisfield; nephews, Jason Sterling and wife Karen of Crisfield and Tommy Wilson of CA; three nieces, Tammy Eure and Kimberly Ott of Salisbury and Janet Campbell of Ocean Pines; an uncle, Weldon H. Lawson of Crisfield; a cousin, Jackie Lawson of Crisfield; a special family member, Carrie Jester and husband Chris and their daughter, Reva of Princess Anne; and many other relatives and friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Gary L. Ward, Raymond K. "Ricky" Ward, Ronnie J. Ward, and L. Barry "Snuffy" Ward.

A memorial service will be Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home.
