William "Paul" Riggin, III, 74, of Crisfield, died Sunday, June 18, 2023 at his home.

Born in Crisfield on March 18, 1949, he was a son of the late William Paul Riggin, Jr. and Lois Jane Somers Riggin.

He was graduate of Crisfield High School Class of 1967 and served in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam War Era.  He was co-owner of the former Riggin's Market which served the Crisfield Community for more than 64 years.

Paul was an active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Marion Station where he served in numerous capacities over the years including Lay Reader and Lay Eucharistic Minister. He had a great love for music and played keyboard and bass guitar in various local bands since he was a teenager.

He is survived by two sons, Adam Riggin and wife Lori of Crisfield and Abraham Riggin of Lancaster, PA; a brother, Matt Riggin and wife Karen of Crisfield; a sister, Betty McCabe and husband Charlie of Seaford; two granddaughters, Kennedy and Autumn Riggin; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
