William Mark "Nut" Riggin, 56, of Crisfield, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.

Born in Crisfield May 29, 1958, he was the son of W. Edwin Riggin, III of New Hampshire and formerly of Crisfield, and the late Marilyn M. Storus Riggin who died September 9, 1992.

He was a graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1976 and attended the University of MD College Park. He was disabled, but worked several years at Wal-Mart in overnight stocking.

He was a member of Asbury U. M. Church and was a former choir member. He loved all sports, and was an avid fan of ESPN.

He is survived by his father, W. Edwin Riggin, III, formerly of Crisfield; his sister, Katherine "Butch" Riggin Haase of Sandown, NH; two nieces, Ashley Shannon Haase and Marilyn Rose Haase, both of Sandown, NH; his special friends, Crystal and Steve Willing of Marion and their children Kyle, Luke, and Kayla, who was like a daughter to him; and his wife, Amy Shanks Riggin of Princess Anne.

Along with his mother, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Brooklyn Nicole Riggin on October 10, 2007.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior. Pastor Steve Willing will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
