William Boyd Wallace, Jr., 46, of Crisfield, passed away at his home after battling an aggressive form of cancer on Friday June 21, 2024, surrounded by his family.

He married the love of his life, Heather Sterling-Wallace in 2003. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind a daughter, Kayleigh, 20, and a son Austin, 11.  He is also survived by his father, William Boyd Wallace, Sr., many aunts and uncles and numerous cousins.  He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Wallace (Ravenscroft), who he lost at a young age.

He had many occupations in his life,  few of which were at Evans Boat Repair and Bayside Home Center.  His most recent job was as a packer at Sherwin Williams. William was a hard worker his entire life and created long lasting friendships along the way. In his free time he enjoyed crabbing, fishing, playing poker with his buddies and spending time with his family.

William chose to donate his body to science in the hopes that further research would help cure others of the cancer that was incurable for him. Even at the end of his life, he chose to help others.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home.
