WAYNE E. LIPSETT, 61, of Princess Anne and formerly of Eden, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Born in Salisbury on February 2, 1947, he was the son of the late William Howard Lipsett, Sr. and Margaret Louise Hickman Lipsett. He was a warehouse manager for the United Products in Salisbury for the past 13 years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran.
A member of Fruitland Christian Church, he also held memberships with the Redmen Lodge in Fruitland, American Legion Post #64 in Princess Anne, and was a past member of the Fruitland Fire Department. He loved music and watching movies.
He is survived by his daughter, Gayle L. Endlich and husband Karl of Rehobeth, MD; two grandchildren, Donna Marie Jewell and husband Dennis of Cambridge, MD and Kevin Collins, Jr. of Snow Hill; a special companion, Ann Long of Princess Anne; three brothers, William Lipsett, Jr. of Fruitland, Robert Lipsett and wife Mary of Gumboro, DE and Charles Lipsett and wife Gaye of Atlantic, VA; one sister, Margaret Fritts and husband Dan of Leesburg, VA; a special aunt, Dorothy Rooks of Salisbury, MD; a special uncle, Kenneth Hickman of Vienna, VA; two special cousins, Bill Culver and Barbara Hill of Princess Anne; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Pastor Kelvin Ford will officiate. Interment will be in Olivet Cemetery near Princess Anne.
