Wanda Louise Swift, 79, of Crisfield, died Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at Cheyenne Mountain Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Born in Pocomoke City on March 27, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd William White and Iva Lorriane Worth Harrison. She had been making her home with her daughter in Colorado Springs for the past three years.
She was a seamstress at the former Crisfield Cap Factory and worked in the deli at the former Riggin's Grocery.
Wanda loved everybody and touched the hearts of everyone she met. Most of all she loved her daughters dearly. She also loved to read.
She is survived by three daughters, Julia Steward (Danny) of Colorado Springs, Cindy Webb (Mike Cornell) of Federalsburg, and Wanda Swift Abbott (the late Guilford Abbott) of Easton; two sisters, Shirley Insley of Crisfield and Daisey Duncan of Salisbury; two brothers, Harry White of Pocomoke and Corbin White of Connecticut; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and son-in-law, she was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Franklin Howard, Guilford Abbott, III, and Cheyenne Steward; a sister, Lorraine Howard; and a brother, Clinton "C.K." White.
Funeral services officiated by the Rev. Clinton King "C.K." White, Jr. will be Friday, January 13, 2017 at 1 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where a viewing will be one hour prior. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
