WANDA L. DAUGHERTY, 75, of Crisfield, died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield.

Born in Crisfield on July 25, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John T. and Alva G. Somers Bozman. Her husband, Robert Lee "Bobby" Daugherty, died October 16, 1992.

She was a homemaker and a former CNA at the Crisfield MAC Center and also at the former Coulbourne Center in Crisfield.

She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Crisfield where she taught Sunday School, and enjoyed singing in the choir and as a soloist. She loved the Lord, and she loved cooking for her family.

Very devoted to her family, she is survived by two sons, Robbie Daugherty and his wife Carol and Rick Daugherty and his wife Becky, all of Crisfield; one granddaughter, Laura Jean Daugherty of Crisfield; one sister, Sonja Caraway of Crisfield; two nieces, Wanda L. Tyler and her husband Beetle and their daughter Kylie, and Lynn Johnson and her husband David and their children Samantha, Ricky, Jefferson, Andrew, Rachael and Robert, all of Crisfield; two cousins, Betty Mrohs and Lois Riggin, both of Crisfield; and a dear friend, Myrtle Sterling.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Dutton Daugherty, who died shortly after birth in 1960; and her brother-in-law, Robert J. Caraway who died in 2005.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM and again one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. The Rev.'s Jack "Tad" Maroon and Bill Sterling will officiate. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
