Walter Milton Insley, 75, of Marion Station, died Monday, June 6, 2016 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.
Born in Marion Station on November 16, 1940, he was a son of the late Samuel M. and Nellie G. Slacum Insley.
He worked maintenance at the former Carvel Hall Cutlery in Crisfield for 30 years, and also with Swift Farms for many years.
He attended Marion Baptist Church, was a member of the Moose Lodge in Westover and the Crisfield Country Club. His pets were his chickens, turkeys, and peacocks and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and John Deere Tractors.
He is survived by his sister, Myrtle Dorman of Norfolk, VA; his brother, Sammy Insley, Jr. and wife Shirley of Crisfield; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Insley; two sisters, Pauline Swift and Ruth Hancock; and a nephew.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 10, 2016 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be one hour prior. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
