CRISFIELD
VIRGINIA F. MISTER, 97, of Crisfield, died Sunday, January 14, 2007 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.
Born in Deal Island on May 8, 1909, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Nettie Northam White. Her husband, James Garland "Tighty" Mister, died July 28, 1994.
A homemaker, she was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Crisfield where she was a faithful member of the Pollyanna Sunday School Class. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and cooking.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond Mister and his wife Bobbie Jean and Richard A. Mister and his wife Marilyn, all of Crisfield; four grandchildren and their spouses, Debbie and Nelson Brice of Crisfield, Mark and Brenda Mister of Hebron, Billy and Barbara Mister of Allen and Derik and Jodi Mister of Marion Station; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, James White.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 11 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield. The Rev. Bob Daniels will officiate. There will be no public viewing, however, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
