VIRGINIA ANNE LARRIMORE BRADSHAW, 61, of Princess Anne and formerly of Rhodes Point, Smith Island, died Sunday, August 22, 2010 at her home.

Born in Cambridge on July 29, 1949, she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred Jarrett Larrimore. Her husband, Hollie R. Bradshaw, died January 10, 1998. She moved to Smith Island at the age of 16, and had been making her home in Princess Anne since 2004.

She was an assistant manager at Dollar General in Princess Anne for 6 years, and was a caretaker for the elderly for many years. She was a hard-worker.

She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church on Rhodes Point. She was a very giving person who loved everyone and put others first. Her greatest love was her family.

She is survived by four children, Brenda Johnson and her friend Tom Pruitt of Craddockville, VA, Hollie R. Bradshaw, Jr. and his friend Crystal of Salisbury, Edgar "Jim" Bradshaw of Princess Anne and his fiancé Dawn Glime of Laurel, and Brian Bradshaw and his fiancé Christy Lawson of Crisfield; two grandchildren, Jordan Marsh of Crisfield and Shannon Jordan of Princess Anne; one great-granddaughter, Ayanna DeShields of Princess Anne; a brother, John W. Larrimore, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Hurlock; and several nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 2 PM at Calvary United Methodist Church on Rhodes Point, Smith Island. Friends may call Wednesday from 10-11 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield and from 7-9 PM at the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
