Obituary

Virginia Rose Black, 66, of Crisfield passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Born in Sewickley, PA on February 4, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Bernard Dewease Coe and Edna Rose Quinn Coe.

Virginia was a homemaker and attended Powerhouse Church of God & Christ in Salisbury where her son-in-law ministers.

She loved fishing, flowers, and gardening. She also loved her dogs, cat, and above all, her family.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, James Keith "Toby" Black of Crisfield; daughters, Tyra Price and husband Walter of Salisbury and Sarah King and husband Michael of Seaford; sisters, Linda Guthrie and Sandra Cremeans, both of Ohio; grandchildren, Caitlin Lower of Seaford and Ashley Mann of New York; great-grandchildren, Tadasia and Sam, both of Florida; brother-in-law, Ronald Black of Crisfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Bernard Coe and Patricia Osbourne.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11 AM and a viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Rev. Walter Price will officiate and interment will follow at Sunnyridge Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are wished to be made to her son-in-law's church, Powerhouse Church of God & Christ, 1002 Mineola Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21801.
