Obituary
Tyrone Power Thomas Sr., 68, of Salisbury went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. A son of the late William Lee "Capt. Bill" Thomas and the late Virginia Howard ReDavid, he was born July 24, 1943, in Crisfield.
He was a member of the Army National Guard of Maryland from 1962-66. He was a member of American Legion Post 64. He was a concrete worker and avid hunter and fisherman, and loved Nascar racing.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Elliot Thomas of Salisbury; a loving, devoted daughter, his caregiver for the past seven years, Terry Thomas Christenbury and companion, David Timmons; two sons, Tyrone Power Thomas Jr. and his wife, MiChong, of Seoul, S. Korea, and Chris Thomas and fiancee, Debbie Hooks; daughter, Debbie Thomas Hooper and fiance, Mark Hackett; stepdaughter, Shirley Jones; siblings, Hilda Thomas Dennis of Salisbury, Jeannie Thomas Hickman and husband, Louis, of Crisfield, and Ricky Thomas and wife, Jodi, of Crisfield; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Wayne Elton Thomas and Allen Lee "Johnnie" Thomas.
