Obituary
Tommy Wilson Hinman, Sr., 70, of Crisfield, died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at McCready Memorial Hospital.
Born in Crisfield November 7, 1943, he was a son of the late Charles L. and Joanna Wilson Hinman. His wife, Marynell Elliott Hinman, died March 20, 1999.
He worked for many years at Somerset County Roads, and later Maintenance, retiring in 2009. He attended Immanuel United Methodist Church in his younger years, and he enjoyed computers, and was an avid wrestling and NASCAR fan.
He is survived by three children, Tommy Hinman, Jr. and wife Rhea and John Leroy Applegate, Sr. and wife Dana, all of Crisfield, and Judy Ann Morales and husband Geraldo of Clewiston, Florida; two step-children, Diane Tyler and husband Beetle and Fritz Strobel and wife Debbie, all of Crisfield; his brothers and sisters, Billy Hinman and wife Joyce of Princess Anne, John "Jack" Hinman of Crisfield, Beverly Carnes and husband Bob of Ellabelle, Georgia, Dinah Neal and husband Butch of Salisbury, JoLynne Vincent and husband David of Centreville, Virginia and Becky Seaback and husband Greg of Panama City Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Ashley Hinman, Stacey Schultz, Justin Boswell, Cody Boswell, Amber Applegate, Aaron Applegate, Cassidy Dunn, Joni Applegate, Taylor Laird, John Leroy Applegate, Jr., Mandi Landing, Lizzie Robertson, William Kauffman, Tabitha Morales, Cristina Morales, Geraldo Morales, Jr., Emily Morales, Maria Morales, Becky Dinterman, Mindy Swift, Chuckie Strobel, and Bruce Strobel; and many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
Along with his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry L. Hinman, Sr., Richard W. Hinman, Sr., and Charles W. Hinman.
A memorial service will be Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior. Rev. Greg Cox will officiate. Urn interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
