Obituary

THOMAS LEE "TOMMY" ADAMS, 83, of Crisfield, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 31, 2007 from Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.

Born in Crisfield on September 8, 1923, he was a son of the late John T. and Lottie Green Adams.

He was a retired mechanic for Rubberset Corporation in Crisfield. Prior, he was a mechanic for many years with Tawes Brothers in Crisfield.

He was a very active and faithful member of the Crisfield Church of God. There, he taught Sunday School, worked the sound system and was the director of the Golden Harvest Food Program for the needy.

He is survived by his wife of almost 66 years, Lois Parks Adams of Crisfield; his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and George Tull of Crisfield; two grandsons, Brent Tull and his wife Valerie of Marion Station and Greg Tull and his wife Kristal of Eden; one great granddaughter, Kayla Joy Tull of Eden, whom he adored; two step-great-grandchildren, Karen Abell and her husband Dale of Pocomoke City and John Earhart and his wife Nicole of Berlin; one sister, Grace Mae "Peggy" Riggin of Crisfield; one brother, David Adams of Crisfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Irvin Adams.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at 2 PM at the Crisfield Church of God. The Rev.'s Philip Morris, Jerry Hughes and Harvey Tyler will officiate. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7-9 at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
