Obituary

Timothy Ray "Timmy" Milliner, 63, of Crisfield, died Friday, January 2, 2015 at McCready Memorial Hospital.

Born in Accomack County, Virginia on December 31, 1951, he was a son of the late Herbert James and Dorothy Irene Maddox Milliner.

He was a graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1969, and attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. He was a correctional officer captain at Eastern Correctional Institution retiring in 2006.

He was a member of Christ Fellowship Bible Church which he loved, Crisfield Country Club, Mako Hunting Club in Virginia, and was a former officer of Crisfield Elks Lodge #1044.

A very loving and devoted husband and family man, he loved spending time with his family and friends and was a mentor to his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He enjoyed playing trivia, cooking, baking, hunting, fishing, working in his garden, and volunteering.

He is survived by his wife of almost 12 years, Sheila Dryden Milliner of Crisfield; children, Steve Jordan and wife Michele of Crisfield, Stuart Jordan of Ocean City, Amanda Harrison and husband Russell of Marion, and Dina Catlin of Marion; sister, Terry Sue Lewis of Crisfield; brothers, James Herbert Milliner and wife Pat of Westover and Russell Wayne Milliner of Baltimore; grandchildren, Kara Jordan, Bethany Harrison, and Conner Catlin; sisters-in-law, Darlene Hall and husband Danny of Waynesboro, VA, Sherry Riggin of Crisfield, and Shelley Wagner and husband Bill of Fenwick, DE; brother-in-law, Billy Justice and wife Lynn of Crisfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where friends may call Monday evening from 7-9. The Rev. Stephen S. Willing will officiate. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ Fellowship Bible Church Building Fund, 5910 Crisfield Highway, Marion, MD 21838; or Lower Somerset County Ambulance and Rescue Squad, LSCARS, P.O. Box 406, Crisfield, MD 21817.
