Obituary

Timothy Tyler Clayton, 65, of Crisfield passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Born in Crisfield on June 10, 1956, he was a son of the late William Russell and Lois Elizabeth Tyler Clayton.

Timmy was a 1974 graduate of Crisfield High School and attended Crisfield Wesleyan Church. He was a hard working handyman who took great pride in a job well done.

Music was his passion. He was a talented guitarist who wrote, composed and performed music and was a member for many years of the band, "Five Bridges Road".  He also wrote Christian music and loved to play in church.

He loved sports and was an avid Orioles and Redskins fan. He also enjoyed watching westerns and old sitcoms on TV, race cars, trains, remote control cars, and collecting sunglasses and hats. He loved God, family, and the USA!

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Meyer Clayton of Crisfield; brothers, William "Bill" Clayton and wife Harlene of Alexandria, VA and Don Clayton and wife Nancy of Salisbury; step-daughter, Angelique Jenkins of Cape Charles, VA; a special grandson, Greg Wooters of Crisfield; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Clayton Moxley and husband Harry of Charlottesville, VA, Stacey Clayton Wood and the late Brian Wood of Broadway, VA, and Donny Clayton and wife Erica and Jeremy Clayton, all of Salisbury; several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and his beloved pet cat, Monkey.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
