Thomas Bradley "Tom B." Evans, Sr. 64, of Eden for the past 13 years and formerly of Smith Island and Crisfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at his home.

Born in Crisfield on January 31, 1953, he was the only son of Vera Brimer Evans Townsend of Crisfield and the late Aaron Thomas "Tommy" Evans, who passed away in 1988.

He was retired from Jessie Taylor Seafood in Washington, D.C. where he worked for 26 years.  He had currently been working for Somerset County Solid Waste Department for the past 12 ½ years.

Tom B. was a member of the Sons of American Legion Post #16, Crisfield Elks Lodge #1044, and he was a former Captain and member of the Ewell Volunteer Fire Department.  He loved the water, fishing, and above all, he loved his grandchildren.

Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife of 11 years, Patti Lynn Hinman Evans of Eden; children, Thomas "Brad" Evans, Jr. and wife Natalie of Crisfield, Melissa Cassimore of Laurel, Heather Thompson and husband Keith of Marion Station, Aaron Brock Evans of Rochester, NY, Charles Eddie Hinman and wife Brittany of West Deptford, NJ, Christopher Thomas Butler and wife Jamie of Westover, and Dana Danielle Dunithan and husband Michael of Eden; a sister, Karen Marshall and husband Glen of Crisfield; 15 grandchildren; and special friends, Butch and Marie Gardner of Chance, MD and Roland and Doris Wilkins of Eden.

Services will be held at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 12 noon where a viewing will be one hour prior to the service.  Interment will follow at Sunnyridge Memorial Park.  Rev. Steve Willing will officiate.
