Thomas Joseph "Mike" Headley, 75, of Crisfield and formerly of Honey Brook, PA, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at TidalHealth McCready Pavilion. He had been making his home in Crisfield since 2002.

Born in Philadelphia on September 10, 1947, he was a son of the late George and Gertrude V. Denney Headley. His wife, Alice F. Robinette Headley, preceded him in death on January 11, 2000.

Mike was a proud retired US Marine Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He was also a Purple Heart recipient.

Very active in his community, he was a member of the former Crisfield VFW Post 8274, Stanley Cochrane American Legion Post #16, and the Knights of Columbus. He also attended Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Pocomoke and St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Westover. He enjoyed dressing up as Santa Claus for local events and you could always find him tidying up Crisfield with beautiful landscape.

He is survived by his sister, Sister Mary Headley of Mt. Vernon, New York; brother, Father William P. Headley of Bethel Park, PA; sister-in-law, Marie Headley of Pittsburgh; nephew, Mr. and Mrs. John Headley of Lewisville, TX; and cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Slack of Villas, NJ and Mr. and Mrs. Dave Clegg of Mt. Laurel, NJ.

A Funeral Mass with military honors will be held at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 5 PM with a viewing one hour prior. Mr. Headley's brother, Father William P. Headley will officiate. An urn interment will be private at the Crisfield VFW Cemetery.
