Obituary
THOMAS H. COFFEY, 54, of Crisfield and formerly of Mt. Rainier, Maryland, died Saturday, November 24, 2007 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.
Born in Germany on April 21, 1953, he was a son of Margaretha "Gretta" Schoen Coffey of Dallas, Texas and the late John Franklin Coffey.
He was a retired construction worker who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends at "The Cut". He had been a resident of Crisfield for about one year.
Along with his mother, Gretta, he is survived by his wife of three years, Betty E. Ribble Coffey of Crisfield; his daughter, Cynthia Coffey-Ammon of Studio City, California; his brother, John J. Coffey and his wife Monica of Dallas; his sister, Kathy Anderson Casper and her husband Rafee of Berkley, California; his nieces, Shelly Anderson and her daughter Courtney, and Sierra and Alyssa Coffey; several other relatives in Philadelphia; and many friends.
A memorial service and scattering will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 2 PM at N. R. Dryden Seafood on 7th Street in Crisfield.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, StJude.org or to your local SPCA.
