Susie Ann Zickafoose, 74, of Salisbury and formerly of Crisfield, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Born in Grundy, VA on May 9, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Charles "Buster" and Arbutus Ratliff Burgess.

Susie was a homemaker and a member of Crossroads Church of God in Fruitland.

She loved doing hair and always wanted to be a beautician. She enjoyed watching TV, especially scary movies, doing puzzles, and was an avid Orioles fan. She loved her kids, grandkids, and grand-doggies dearly.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Wayne Zickafoose of Salisbury; children, Eric Zickafoose, Kevin Zickafoose, Sr., Michael Zickafoose, Kevin Zickafoose, Jr. whom she raised since he was 5, and Faith Zornak who was like a daughter, all of Salisbury; grandchildren, Eric Zickafoose, Jr., Michael Zickafoose, Jr., Courtney Zickafoose, Christopher Zickafoose, Jonathan Zickafoose, and Logan Zickafoose; a great-grandchild, Sophia; her brothers, Teddy Burgess and George Burgess, both of Salisbury; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Burgess.

Funeral services and interment will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Glen Haven Memorial Park Chapel in Glen Burnie at 1 PM. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastor John Kalfayan will officiate.
