Susan "Sue" Evans Williams, 92, of Crisfield, died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at her home.

Born on Smith Island March 16, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Lily Marsh Evans. Her husband, Percy B. Williams, preceded her in death on December 22, 2009.

A homemaker, she was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Crisfield, and enjoyed attending Marion Baptist Church and Somerset Free Methodist Church as well. She also enjoyed antiques, home decorating, gardening, and bridge.

She is survived by her son, John E. Williams and his wife Kathleen of Nantucket, Massachusetts, and their daughters Jennifer and Meghan; and her caregiver, with whom she made her home, Patti "Sugar" Daugherty of Crisfield.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Wharton .

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 1 PM at Marion Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor's Kim Gilson, Joe Barnes, and Jim Evans. Interment will be private on Saturday, October 13, 2012 in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
