Susan E. Powell, 77, of Crisfield, died Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at her home.

Born in Crisfield August 8, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Martin Luther Sterling and Virginia Emma Nelson Sterling.

She worked at Mrs. Paul's Kitchens until their closing and was a caregiver for 17 years.

She was a member of the Crisfield Wesleyan Church and loved her church family.

She is survived by three sons, Donald Powell and wife Sheila of Glen Burnie, Jeff Powell of Pasadena, and Michael Powell and fiancé Lynn Gillette of Medina, Ohio; her brother, Martin Sterling of Florida; her sister, Iris Justice of Crisfield; two grandchildren, Daniela and Donnie Powell; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Buster Nelson, Ephriam Riggin, and Barney Riggin.

A graveside service officiated by Rev. Bob Daniels will be Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 1 PM at Asbury Cemetery in Crisfield.
