Susan D. Lehman, 85, of Crisfield, MD, died Monday, October 25, 2021 at her home.

Born October 9, 1936 in Cooperstown, NY, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Elizabeth Smolik Durisek.

Susan grew up in Richfield Springs, NY and graduated from Richfield Springs High School in 1954.  On August 28, 1956 in Richfield Springs, NY she married Robert D. Lehman.  She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Glassboro State College, New Jersey in 1973 with disciplines in elementary and early childhood education.  Susan spent 30 years working in the field of education in New Jersey and Florida.  She and her husband retired to Crisfield, MD in 1997.

Survivors include her husband, Robert D. Lehman of Crisfield; a daughter, Susan Lehman of Exmore, VA; and a son, Robert Lehman, Jr. and wife Jerri of Crisfield.  Also surviving are four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Michael (Jane) Voorhies of Lincoln, NE and a brother, Dr. George Durisek of Harrisburg, PA.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 11:30 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home.
