Susan "Sue" Elaine Jones, 63, of Silver Springs, Florida, died Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the home of her daughter in Snow Hill.

Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan on October 22, 1958, she was a daughter of the late Albert Lewis Heavenridge and Wilma Elaine Northrop Serman.

Sue loved her family very much and looked forward to her summer vacation in Maryland, which she took every year with her grandson Gabe, who she was raising. Sue was a US Navy Veteran. She loved to garden and cross stitch.

Sue is survived by her husband Ernest "Chippy" Jones; children Susan McPherson and her significant other Larry Price and their children Skyler and Connor; Tamara Vaughn and her husband Gregory Vaughn and their son Lloyd Webb IV; and Samantha Thomas and her children Trenton and his wife Abigail, Lane, and Samara; and Trenton and Lane's step-mom Christina who Sue thought of as her daughter; her grandchildren, Hailey and Gabriel; step-son, Shayne and his wife Natasha and their children Rebecca, Tommy and Kendall; her siblings, Joy and her husband Terry, Cheryl and her husband Don, and Walter Jay and his wife Tammy; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Adam; and her great-granddaughter Scarlett.

Funeral services with military honors will be Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be one hour prior.
