Stuart Raymond Garrison, of Crisfield, who has been missing since 2002, was found on February 9, 2005 and was positively identified and released by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore on Tuesday, July 15, 2008.
Born in Crisfield on October 7, 1959, he was a son of Mary Ruth Somers Garrison of Crisfield and the late Jesse Raymond Garrison who died March 26, 2007.
Stuart enjoyed riding and working on motorcycles, all types of music, playing guitar and drawing. He also loved to study the Bible. He attended the Crisfield Church of God.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Ruth Garrison of Crisfield; his son, Aaron Garrison of Crisfield and Aaron's half brother, Brian Cullen, of Crisfield; his brother, Scott Garrison of Crisfield; his sister, Pam Garrison of Crisfield; his grandfather, Allen "Froggy" Somers of Crisfield; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Virginia Somers and Arinthia and Raymond Garrison.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one half hour prior. The Rev. Philip Morris will officiate. Urn interment will be at a later date in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be sent to Lower Somerset County Ambulance and Rescue Squad, LSCARS, P.O. Box 406 or to the Crisfield Fire Department, P.O. Box 591, both Crisfield, Maryland 21817.
