Steven Augustus Pilkerton, 52, of Crisfield, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at his home.

Born in La Plata, MD on November 6, 1971, he was the son of Betty Diane Pilkerton.

A 1989 graduate of Crisfield High School, he was a carpenter and a waterman who loved working and had a strong work ethic. He loved being outdoors and especially loved being on the water.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing horse shoes with his horse shoe team. He loved his children and grandchildren greatly, and his contagious laugh and smile will be missed by all who knew him.

Along with his mother, he is survived by his sons, Steven Pilkerton, Jr. and wife Carman, and Donovan Wathan; sister, Tracy Watkins and husband Andrew; grandchildren, Alani and Allaiah; beloved companion, Kim Lee; aunts, Ruthann, Lorraine, and Nancy; nieces and nephews, Dominic, Dymond, Damitreus, Devon, and Larry; his beloved pet dog, Bella; and many cousins, friends, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Raven Skye Pilkerton; and uncles, Russell and Bill.

Memorial services will be held at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 1 PM with a visitation two hours before the service. Rev. Eddie Daniels will officiate.
