Stanley Terry Moore, 75, of Laurel, DE passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at his home.
Born in Crisfield on January 31, 1942, he was the only son of the late Henry Stanley Moore and Eva Riggin.
Terry was a graduate of Crisfield High School Class of 1960. He continued his education at Mars Hill College then later transferring to the University of Maryland, College Park.
In 1964, he met and married Nancy Mary Davis, of Pittsville, MD. The couple took up residence in Salisbury, MD and Terry went to work for the former Salisbury Steel Company from 1964 to 1972.
In 1972, Terry and Nancy decided to go into business for themselves. They relocated to Seaford, DE with their three children and owned and operated the former Moore's Dairy Markets until 1978.
Upon their divorce, Terry returned to Salisbury and became a Real Estate Agent, then later a broker. All throughout the 1980's he continued in this profession.
In 1992, Terry went to work for Lowe's where he continued until his retirement in 2004. After retiring, Terry worked various part-time jobs until his health began to fail.
Stanley Terry Moore was a compassionate man, a loving father, and he will be sorely missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his three children, Joseph Stanley Moore of Salisbury, MD, Amanda Marie Espenlaub of Laurel, DE, and Matthew Joshua Moore of Loxahatchee, FL; and their three spouses respectively, Damaris Noguera-Moore of Salisbury, MD, Derby Espenlaub of Laurel, DE, and Stacy Moore of Loxahatchee, FL; one sister, Anna Lewis of Crisfield, MD; one niece, Stephanie Lewis of Crisfield, MD; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11 AM where the family will receive friends one half hour prior to the service. Urn interment will follow at Sunnyridge Memorial Park. Rev. Stephen S. Willing will officiate.
