Stanley Harris "Bud" Crockett, 95, of Princess Anne and formerly of Baltimore and Tangier Island, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023 at his home.

Born on Tangier Island on February 1, 1928, he was the son of the late Harlan and Nina Crockett.  His wife of more than 20 years, Ouida Crockett, preceded him in death in 2021.

A graduate of Tangier High School, he was a US Army veteran and a waterman.

He is survived by his sister, Deborah Crockett Haynie of Salisbury; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Jennie Christine Charnock and Norma Ruth Bradshaw.

A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 12 PM at Sunnyridge Memorial Park.  The Rev. Stephen S. Willing will officiate.
