Shoko Ueda Elder, 79, of Virginia Beach, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Crisfield, Maryland.
Born January 1, 1935 in Osaka, Japan, she was the daughter of the late Jun-ichi Ueda and Funako Shimamura. Her husband, Allen T. Elder, Jr. died November 1, 1969.
Mrs. Elder was a retired baker at Morrison's cafeteria.
She is survived by a son, Allen Elder, III of Virginia Beach; two daughters, Cindy Elder of Crisfield and Bonnie Robbins of Greenville, NC; and three grandchildren, Jeremy Robbins, Kiley Robbins, and Lindsey Robbins.
