Shirley R. Thomas, 82, of Crisfield, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield.

Born in Crisfield September 30, 1932, she was a daughter of the late William Roach and Beatrice Morgan Lundgren. Her husband, Robert Thomas, died October 30, 1989.

A homemaker, she was a seamstress at the former Crisfield Cap Factory and also ran her husband's crab shanty. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, listening to country music, playing on the computer, gardening, and traveling with her sister to flea markets and slots.

She is survived by three children, Robert Thomas, Jr. of Princess Anne, David Thomas and wife Mary of Marion, and Nancy Ennis and husband Tracy of Marion; a sister, Lorraine Lankford of Crisfield; three grandchildren, Crystal Thomas, Angie Thomas, and Jessica Bradshaw; two great-grandchildren, Brianna Thomas and Shayna Thomas; her special friend and neighbor, Gloria Wroten; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Joyce Lynn Bradshaw November 28, 2001; and her brothers and sisters, William Roach, Howard Lundgren, Jr., Marie McNabb, Joyce Jones, Beulah Evans, Thelma Sterling and Betty Jane Landon.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where a viewing will be one hour prior. Rev. Harvey Tyler will be officiating. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery.
