Shirley Ann Martin Crockett, 64, of Crisfield, died Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at her home.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 23, 1957, she was a daughter of the late Charlie and Ida Lee Walston Martin.  Her husband, Preston Lee Crockett, preceded her in death on August 7, 2009.

She was retired from Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home where she worked in dietary/housekeeping, and over the years also worked at Puff's and Captain's Carry Out.  She was a member of the Stanley Cochrane Post #16 American Legion Auxiliary.

Shirley loved spending time with family.  She enjoyed going out with her family and friends, cooking, being active on FaceBook, and tanning on her deck sipping Natural Light or Diet Pepsi with a straw.  She was well-known for her sassiness, facial expressions, sarcasticness, and her heart of gold.  Over the past few years Shirley has struggled with much illness.  She was diagnosed with cancer which led to her having to have a total laryngectomy.  Shirley was a kind hearted woman who loved everyone and everyone loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, LeeAnn Martin Linton; granddaughter, Jenna Marie Linton; twin sister, Kathy Martin Byrd and husband Tony; sister, Linda Martin Mister; brother, Charles Bruce Martin and wife Nancy; sister-in-law, Bonnie Martin; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brothers, Eddie and Paul Martin; sister, Rosemary Taylor; In-Laws, Clifford Taylor, Woody Mister, and Angie Martin; nieces, Candy and Sherry Taylor; nephew, Jason Byrd' and her very special BFF, Kim Richards.

Memorial services officiated by Rev. LeBron Palmer will be Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Living Hope Ministries of the Eastern Shore or the American Legion Post#16.
