SHELVA JEAN EVANS, 69, of Crisfield, died Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at her home.
Born in Crisfield on October 26, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd James and Thelma Virginia Byrd Tyler.
A member of Faith Fellowship Assembly of God in Crisfield, she was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was also anxiously anticipating the arrival of her fourth great-grandchild due September 14th.
She is survived by three devoted daughters and their husbands, Terri and Mike Milbourne of Crisfield, Tammi and Dicky Reynolds of Princess Anne, and Traci and Chris Tyler of Crisfield; seven grandchildren, Laurie Marshall, Bart Thomas and Petey Dorman, all of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina, Tyler Ryan of Rockville, Maryland, Walt Baker of Princess Anne, David Barone and Erica of Crisfield and Cody Tyler of Crisfield; three great-grandchildren, Becca Marshall, Ryan Marshall and Chandler Thomas; two sisters, Joyce Justice of Crisfield and Ruth Merritt of Salisbury; three nephews, Lloyd Laird of Pasadena, Larry Laird of Salisbury and Billy Justice of Crisfield; three nieces, Sheila Milliner and Sherry Riggin, both of Crisfield, and Shelly Wagner of Ocean Pines; her special family friend, Earl Owens of Crisfield; her beloved pet cat, Morris; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Chuckie Justice.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call Friday evening from 7-9 PM or one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Robert Daniels will officiate. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery.
