Sharon Peoples Ramsay, 68, of Westover, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake.

Born in Washington, D.C. on April 23, 1955, she was the daughter of the late John "Jack" Watson and Delores Trempe Peoples.

She was a graduate of Gaithersburg High School and the University of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore. She worked as a Registered Nurse for several years, took time out to raise her children, and then became the office manager for her husband's dental practice for 23 years until their retirement in 2018.

Sharon was active in her community as a member of the Crisfield Lioness Club and enjoyed volunteering at Holly Grove Christian School while her children attended. She enjoyed traveling, boating, and all types of exercise, especially biking and running. Most of all she loved her family and her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of almost 42 years, Bruce C. Ramsay of Westover; children, Jessica Ramsay Wilson (Drew) of Westover, and Chad Peoples Ramsay (Sara) of Princess Anne; siblings, Debbie Nowicki (Tony), Barry Peoples (Leanne), Patty Peoples (Tom), Tim Peoples, Pam Moxley (Charlie), and Cathy Placek; grandchildren, Camden Ramsay, Callie Ramsay, Crew Ramsay, Wyatt Wilson, and Connor Wilson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and special friends.

Memorial services at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 11 AM with a visitation before the service from 10-11 AM. Rev. Bob Daniels will be officiating the service.
