Sarah M. Parks, 74, of Crisfield and formerly of Tangier and Salisbury, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Hartley Hall Nursing and Rehab in Pocomoke.

Born in Crisfield on September 26, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Willard James Taylor and Gladys Taylor.

Sarah was a graduate of Crisfield High School and was a Homemaker. While living on Tangier, she attended Swain Memorial United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed painting, sewing, embroidery, and crafts. She loved to watch the history and weather channels and above all, she loved being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Parks of Crisfield; sons, Stephen Parks (Jennifer) of Crisfield and Larry Parks (Amy Mariciano) of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Stephen Edward Parks, Jr., Haley Parks, Zachery Parks, Justin Parks, Cody Newman, Sheldon Parks, Adrianna Parks, Malachi Parks, and Caleb Parks; great-grandchildren, Alaia Parks, Levi Lakin, and Emberlynn Parks.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Mattie Taylor.

A memorial service will be Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 2 PM at the Crisfield Church of God Fellowship Hall.
