Sarah E. Morgan, 85, of Crisfield, died Saturday July 19, 2014 at Aurora Senior Living of Manokin in Princess Anne, MD.
Born in Virginia Beach, VA, on March 15, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Upshur and Alta Somers Adams. Her husband, Ernest Morgan, preceded her in death on November 7, 1993.
A homemaker, she was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in Crisfield. She loved to read and do word searches. She also enjoyed embroidering fabrics.
She is survived by a son, Calvin R. Landon and his wife Donna of Cambridge, MD; a daughter, Tonette Whaley of Princess Anne, MD; three brothers, Charlie Adams of Crisfield, Johnny Adams of Hebron, MD, and Jerry Adams and his wife Jean of Crisfield; two sisters, Mary Kyte of Princess Anne, MD and Annie Bozman of Windsor, VA; two grandchildren, Nicole Carmean and Samuel Jacob; three great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Macie, and Scott; three step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, George "Buddy" Adams and a son-in-law, Sam Whaley.
A funeral service officiated by Rev. Olivia Costango will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be held on Tuesday evening from 6-8. An interment will follow in Crisfield Cemetery.
