Sandra Darlene Gerber, 74, of Crisfield, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at her home.
Born in Holly, Michigan on November 21, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Elmer Kuenne and Evelyn Marie Baumann.
She was lab technician at Northrop Grumman for 30 years, then moved to Safran where she retired after 11 years.
Sandra had been making her home in Crisfield for six years and loved the area. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, doing home improvements, boating, and crabbing. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Douglas Hockman of Largo, MD; daughter, Teana Marie Fairbank/James Stephens of Crisfield; siblings, Charles Baumann of Pasadena, MD, Sharon Messenger of Lafayette, Indiana, and Shela Ingson of Ellicott City, MD; grandchildren, Adam Earl Doran, Sylvia Danyelle Hough, and Kaitlin Marie Fairbank/Greg Harris; great-grandchildren, Stephen Arthur Dudley and Kendell Grace Harris; best friend, Barbara; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sally Peirson.
A memorial service will be held on June 3, 2017 at 11 AM at Open Door Christian Community Ministries, 902 Delaware Avenue, Salisbury, MD 21801.
