Sally Anne Matthews, 64, of Marion Station, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at her home.

Born in Glyndon, MD, she was a daughter of the late Phillip Edward Shipe, Jr. and Mary Dixon Shipe.

Sally was retired from medical billing. She greatly enjoyed gardening and bird watching; and she loved being at home spending time with her family and her beloved dog, "Tucker."

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Roland Morris Matthews of Marion Station; two children, Mindy Matthews of Pocomoke and Patrick Matthews and his wife, Amiee of Princess Anne; siblings, Julie Frey and her husband, Steve of Westover and Phillip Shipe of Salisbury; grandchildren, Noah, Jordon, Katherine, Kayley, and Austin; her cousin who was like a sister, Sue Sherman of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to help the family with final expenses are requested to be sent to Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home, 306 W. Main Street, Crisfield, MD 21817.
