Ruth B. Green, 89, formerly of Kingston, died on Friday, November 27, 2009 at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born on Tangier Island, VA she was the daughter of the late Ernest Crockett and Sadie Shores Crockett. Her husband, Mason H. Green, Jr. died on September 26, 1983.

She formerly attended the Somerset Free Methodist Church in Crisfield.

Surviving are two sons, Richard M. Green of Cincinnati, Ohio, and James E. Green and his wife, Frances, of Fairborn, Ohio; one daughter, Barbara Green of Salisbury; one sister, Verna Small of Baltimore. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 30, 2009 at 2 pm at Sunnyridge Memorial Park. The Rev. Sam Horner will officiate. Friends may call at the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home Monday from 12 to 1 PM.
