Rosalie Irene Reese, 89, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 at home in Marion Station.

Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother was born to Chester and Eleanor Smith of Chicago, IL on July 9, 1935.

Rosalie was the mother of five. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughters, Leslie Lamberti-Reese and Lynn Reese.  She is survived by her daughters Laurie Moore and Lisa Nee (husband Christopher) and her son Russell Reese.  Rosalie is also survived by her nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She had a long career for working for the Transportation Communications Union (TCU, formerly known as BRAC).

Private services are planned for immediate family.

As a lifelong Democrat, any donations in her name to the Kamala Harris campaign would be greatly appreciated.
