Ronald Brooks, 61, of Crisfield and formerly of Baltimore, died Friday, April 15, 2016 at his home.
Born in Baltimore on March 22, 1955, he was the son of the late Wesley Brooks and Lillian Rhodes.
He was a tractor trailer driver working 17 years before his retirement. Formerly he was a construction worker.
A resident of Crisfield for the past seven years, he enjoyed fishing, crabbing and being on the water. He loved his work, his family, and his poodle "Shelby". He also was proud of his million mile safe driving award from J.B. Hunt.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Irene Davis Brooks of Crisfield; his daughter, Ronette Brooks of Baltimore; four step-children, Patricia Clarke and husband Walter of Randallstown, Shakina Michele Martin of Windsormill, MD, John Martin, III of Windsormill, MD, and Michael Martin, Sr. and wife Kenyetta of Baltimore; three grandchildren, Ronald, Antonette and Nia Lewis; three step-grandchildren, Devin, Mykel, and Michael, Jr.; a great-granddaughter, Jaylynn; and two special cousins, Angela and Robin.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wilbur.
