Obituary

Roger Long Tull, 81, of Crisfield, died Monday, October 3, 2016 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home.

Born in Crisfield January 12, 1935, he was a son of the late Long and Elva Owens Tull. His wife, Marilyn Marshall Tull died January 13, 1997.

A Crisfield High School graduate of the class of 1954, he worked almost 40 years at Suburban Propane.

A member of Asbury United Methodist Church, he enjoyed fishing, his grandkids, and his grand dog. He was an avid sports fan and devoted many years of his life to the Crisfield Little League coaching and umpiring. In addition, he will be posthumously inducted into the Eastern Shore Baseball Hall of Fame this coming November.

He is survived by his daughter, Terri Tull Scott and husband David of Severn, MD; two grandchildren, Kelsie and Jordan Scott, also of Severn; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by a baby sister, Edna Tull; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Maurice and Peggy Tull and Charles "Biddy" and Martha Tull.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be Friday evening from 6-8. The Rev. Stephen S. Willing and Mr. Robin Matthews will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
