Rodney Albert Roberts, 67, of Marion Station and formerly of Baltimore, died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at his home.
Born in Baltimore June 30, 1946, he was a son of the late Brooklyn Bryan and Olga Elizabeth Chepaitis Roberts. He had been making his home in Marion Station for the past 15 years.
He was a retired sprinkler fitter in Baltimore, and most recently was a greeter at Walmart in Pocomoke City.
He was a US Army Vietnam veteran and had a love for animals.
He is survived by his sister, Patricia Fulcher and husband Pete of Marion Station; his nephews and niece, William "Billy" Fulcher of Sacramento, CA, Edward Roberts of Glen Burnie, and Deborah Norfolk of Princess Anne; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Anthony Roberts.
A viewing will be held Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 10-11 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield. A graveside committal service with military honors will follow at 2 PM at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be sent to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
