Rodney William Burke, 43, of Crisfield, died Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at his home.

Born in Crisfield August 7, 1979, he was the son of Pennie Dorman Burke of Ona, WV and the late Ronnie William Burke who died January 11, 2015.

Rodney was a waterman and he loved being on the water.  He was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and painting.  He also loved being outside riding dirt bikes and 4-wheelers.  He was very loved by his family.

He is survived by his mother, Pennie Dorman Burke; his daughter, Danielle Burke; his son, Damien Ford; his brothers, Daniel Burke and wife Billie Raye and Brian Burke and wife Marlo; grandchildren, Kaesyn Ford and Lailani Burke; maternal grandparents, Danny Dorman and Barbara Dorman; paternal grandmother, Elmira Ford; aunts and uncles, Dawn Etta Evans, Pat and Tim Dorman, Randy and Kandy Burke, and Robin and John Windsor; nieces and nephews, Cassidy, Marissa, and Jenna Burke and Dominick, Ariana and Chloie Burke; and close cousins, Brandon Britton, Maegan Britton and Pete Dorman.

Funeral services officiated by Rev. Bob Daniels will be Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be one hour prior.  Interment will follow in Asbury Cemetery.
