Obituary
Robin L. Parks, 55, of Salisbury and formerly of Crisfield, died on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake.
Born in Crisfield July 23, 1962, she was the daughter of Dawn Payne Laird of Crisfield and the late John Laird. She was a correctional officer at the Eastern Correctional Institution in Westover.
Surviving besides her mother are two daughters, Kristan Wheatley (Lewis) of Princess Anne, and Amber Handy (Tristan) of New Church, VA; one brother, Roger Laird of Crisfield; one sister, Tricia Esley (Chuck) of Crisfield; 5 grandchildren, Haley Wondrash, Brandon Wheatley, Brody Wheatley, Brayden Parks, and Bailey Handy; a special friend, Tom McCready and special caregivers, Angela Cherrix and Jennifer Konopik.
Besides her father she was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Laird.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Bradshaw and Sons Funeral Home where friends may call one hour prior to the services. The Rev. Lebron Palmer will officiate.
The family requests no flowers but donations may be made to ALS Association, Maryland Chapter, 7507 Standish Place, Rockville, MD 20855 or Coastal Hospice, P. O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802-1733.
