Robert D. Lehman, 88, of Crisfield, MD passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at his residence at Chesapeake Cove, Crisfield, MD.

Born February 21, 1935 in Westfield, NJ, he was the son of the late Charles C. and Marion L. Note Lehman.

Robert grew up in Westfield, NJ and graduated from Westfield High School in 1953. On August 31, 1956 in Richfield Springs, NY he married Susan A. Durisek, who preceded him in death on October 25, 2021. He earned his Bachelor Degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1957 with a discipline in mechanical engineering. Robert's professional career was spent in the biomedical engineering field in New Jersey and Florida. He and his wife retired to Crisfield, MD in 1997.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Lehman of Exmore, VA and a son, Robert Lehman, Jr. and wife Jerri of Crisfield. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Kelsey and husband Chris Kilmon of Exmore, VA, Ethan and wife Michaela Bottone of Kansas City, MO, Kim Bottone of Cincinnati, OH, and Ginni Sue and husband Kenny Sterling of Edgewater, MD; two great-grandchildren, Layne Sterling and Marley Kilmon; and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Marion Weininger of McCutchenville, OH.

Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Lincoln Michael "Link" Sterling in 2016.
