Robert Weldon "Bobby" Bromley, 72, of Marion Station, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at his home overlooking the water, his favorite place to be.
Born in Salisbury on March 14, 1953, he was raised in Mt. Vernon and was a son of the late Lindy and Mary Jane Mills Bromley.
A graduate of Washington High School, he was a waterman and car salesman at Sherwood where he later retired.
Bobby loved being on the water, and especially enjoyed fishing and crabbing. He loved spending time with his family and adored his pet dog "Ziggy". His favorite pastime was sipping coffee in the mornings on his porch with Pam and Ziggy.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pam Collins Bromley; his daughter, Kim Bromley Tucker and husband Norman; his grandchildren, Noah and Maggie Tucker; his brother and sisters, Jack Bromley and wife Alice, Sue Bromley and husband Jack Hearsey, and Candy Brinsfield; a nephew who was like a son, Lindy Coburn; his mother-in-law, Barbara Collins; his sister-in-law, Dawn Harr and husband Ed; and several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Coburn.
All family and friends are invited to attend a picnic at home on Coulbourn Creek in his honor on Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 3:30 PM – Sunset. Friend and Pastor Eddie Daniels will be the speaker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to be sent to Lower Somerset County Ambulance and Rescue Squad, LSCARS, P.O. Box 406, Crisfield, MD 21817; or Marion Fire Department, P.O. Box 143, Marion Station, MD 21838.
