Robert Lee "Bobby" Marshall, 80, of Crisfield and Tylerton, Smith Island, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in Crisfield, February 14, 1937, he was a son of the late Russell James Marshall and Pauline Wilson Bradshaw Marshall.

A life-long waterman and US Army veteran, Bobby was a member of Union United Methodist Church on Tylerton where he sang in the choir, was lay leader, and former treasurer. After moving to Crisfield, he attended Somerset Free Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Tylerton Fire Department, American Legion Post #16, was member and past president of the Tangier Sound Waterman's Association, and was honored by the Crisfield Lions Club by being inducted into the Waterman's Hall of Fame. Bobby was an avid Yankee fan, enjoyed making and mending crab scrape nets, and loved spending time with his friends at Gordon's.

He is survived by his wife of almost 58 years, Janice Laird Marshall; two children, Willard Marshall and wife Becky of Rock Hall, MD and Robin Bradshaw and husband Lindsey of Tylerton; a brother, Dwight Marshall and wife Mary of Tylerton; four grandchildren, Anna Marshall of Rock Hall, Jacqueline Bradshaw Hair and husband Jay of Crisfield, Cody Bradshaw and wife Jaime of Crisfield, and Kelli Bradshaw and fiancé Josh Theiss of Crisfield; two great-grandchildren, Jason and Jacob Hair; brothers-in-law, Dave Laird and wife Cecil of Ewell, MD and John Laird and wife Patty of Tylerton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services officiated by Reverends Jim Evans, Bob Daniels and Everett Landon will be Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where a viewing will be Saturday evening from 7-9. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
