Obituary
Rita Johanna Dize, 90, of Tangier Island, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from her home.
Born July 10, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Domenico and Lucretia Fasano Fanto. Her husband, Earl Franklin Dize, preceded her in death in 1991.
A retired insurance claims auditor, she was a member of Swain Memorial United Methodist Church where she was active in the Women's Prayer Band.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 1:30 PM at Swain Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Flood officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Swain Memorial U. M. Church, Tangier, VA 23440.
