In the early morning hours on July 22, 2023, Reverend Henry Zollinhofer better known as "Rev. Z" met his master face to face.

Born on March 3, 1930 he was the son of the late Naomi and Gordon Zollinhofer.

Henry served in the US Navy, and upon his separation from the Navy he opened his own cabinet business; Zollinhofer's Holli-Wood Products Custom Built Cabinets located in Hollywood, MD.  At 36 years of age he entered into the ministry and became an ordained United Methodist Pastor.  Serving in East Texas, the Baltimore/Washington conference, and the Peninsula/Delaware conference where he pastored on the eastern shore of Maryland for 35 years.  It was during this time that he met on Smith Island the love of his life, Janet Evans Zollinhofer whom he left behind after 45 years of marriage.

Along with his wife he is survived by his three daughters, Sherry Zollinhofer, Darling Zollinhofer, Wendy Hite and husband Denny.  He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Brian & Jackie Hite, Kristi & Patrick Goldsmith, Kelli & Joseph Reusi, Desiree & Rev. Matthew Huff, Kori & Matthew Mosher, and Sierra & Adam Barrett.  He also leaves behind 16 Great Grandchildren, and two Great, Great Grandchildren, he was "Pa Pa Cookie" to all of them.  Also, surviving are his 4 siblings, Gordon Zollinhofer in Maryland and 3 sisters, Ida Zollinhofer in Texas, Jacklyn Randall and husband Richard in Texas, and Candace Miller in Florida along with several nieces and nephews.

He was pre deceased by his Son Henry Duncan Zollinhofer and Granddaughter Cinnamon Joy Hite.

A celebration service will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 beginning at 12:00pm at First Saints Community Church located in Ridge, MD- 13723 Point Lookout Road, Ridge, MD 20680, followed by lunch and fellowship.
